Originally from Sakhalin, an island just north of Japan, I have been passionate about the Japanese language since childhood. I began learning it at the age of eight and have devoted my entire education to mastering it.
With over 15 years of experience in Japanese language and culture, I offer personalized lessons to help you achieve fluency and immerse yourself in its richness. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Oriental and African Studies with a focus on Japanese, as well as a Master’s degree in International Regional Studies and Management, both earned with honors.
In addition to teaching, I have extensive experience as a professional translator and country manager, working with prestigious organizations such as the Hokkaido Bank, the Sakhalin Regional Government and the Export Support Center. I have a big experience at establishing and developing deep connections with Japanese companies, and also providing services for expanding brand awareness and sales increase by organizing PR activities and marketing campaigns.
Throughout my career, I’ve translated, interpreted, and worked closely with Japanese-speaking professionals, which has deepened my understanding of the language in both business and cultural contexts. I visited Japan for more than 30 times! It gave me a priceless opportunity to dive into the cultural depths not only professionally, but also personally, as I met a lot of amazing people and some of my close friends are Japanese. I travelled to a great amount of places and Japan is one of my favourite destinations ever.
In addition to my work as a translator, I have spent years teaching Japanese privately, guiding students from various backgrounds to improve their language skills. My teaching approach is centered around creating engaging, real-world lessons that prioritize speaking practice, translation exercises, and cultural insights, ensuring a holistic language-learning experience.
